Indoor Batting Tunnels at Extra Innings
Extra Innings has eight multi-use tunnels that can be rented by the half hour or full hour. Each tunnel is 67 feet long, 15 feet wide and 17 feet high which allows for greater mobility and ball travel than the standard batting tunnel. Each tunnel is equipped with an adjustable pitching machine, making the tunnels suitable for individual or team hitting needs. Two tunnels are equipped with an auto-feed Iron Mike™ Pitching Machine.

Our batting tunnels are a great way to take batting practice when you want to go at your own pace. Each tunnel is equipped with L-screens, tees and balls as well as a pitching machine that can be adjusted for very young players to speeds near 95 miles an hour! There are no coins to feed into a machine; the batting tunnel is all yours. Whether it's 1 player, 2 players or an entire team call today to schedule your tunnel time.
If the player wants to take live batting practice L-screens are available to protect the player throwing batting practice. To ensure there's a cage ready for you when you want, reservations are strongly
recommended for tunnels.
Iron Mike™ Pitching Machine - Allows You to Practice Alone
Extra Innings Hillsborough is proud to now offer an Iron Mike Pitching Machine for its customers.
The Iron Mike’s arm-style action provides the most realistic batting cage experience because with
each pitch you see the machine’s arm wind up and release the ball. The realistic nature of the machine
allows you to practice the same fundamentals in the batting cages as you use on the field.
